Graham ANN P. STEWART Mrs. Ann Christine Pickard Stewart, age 84, of 507 East Hanover Rd., passed away Tuesday April 8, 2008 at Alamance Health Care. A native of Randolph County, she was the wife of the late David H. "Buster" Stewart and daughter of the late Walter Lee and Myrtle Lee Mabry Pickard. She was a lifelong homemaker, a member of Graham Friends Church and the Mamie Thompson Missionary Circle. Survivors include her sons, David H. Stewart, Jr. and wife Becky of Waxhaw and Calvin Lester Stewart and wife Cathy of Monroe; daughters, Pearl Lee Stewart of the home and Sue S. Allison and husband Murphy of Graham; grandchildren, Lynne Stewart Dillard and husband Dave of Graham, Alissa Stewart Parker and husband James of Monroe and Travis Allison of Graham; great grandchildren, Amanda Dillard and Stewart Dillard; brother, Ralph Edward Pickard of Ocala, FL; sister, Pauline Butkevicius of Zellwood, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Vivian Pickard Loyd and brothers, William Pickard and Walter Lee Pickard, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Graham Friends Church by Rev. Mark Ryman and Rev. Nelson Puffenbarger. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. Mrs. Stewart will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory until being taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral service.
