John Tickle

Burlington John Kennard Tickle, 56, of 1265 Sharpe Rd. passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, February 1, 2008 at his home. He was born in Guilford County to John Q. Tickle who survives and the late Fern Stewart Tickle. He attended Westminster Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Family Motorcoach Association, an affiliate of Carolina Ramblers Motorcoach Association. He is survived by his loving wife, Doris Oakes Tickle of the home; father, John Q. Tickle of Gibsonville and sister, Lydia Ellen Tickle of Gibsonville. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday at Westminster Presbyterian Church by Rev. Powell Sykes. The family will receive friends following the service at the church and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church 1126 W.
