Burlington, NC Kathryn Lynn Cox Moore, age 53, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2009 at her home. She was a native of Anaheim, California and the daughter of Lee Burkett and Mary Ellen Highfill Cox both surviving. Kathryn graduated from Eastern Alamance High School and worked in the service industry for many years. She enjoyed making jewelry, walking and helping other people. Kathryn was a kind and compassionate lady who will be missed by family and many friends. Survivors include her son, Justin Michael Moore and his companion, Kevin Vuillemot of Greensboro; daughter, Kristin Anne Moore of High Point and her companion, Kevin Coberly of Trinity; parents of Burlington; sister, Susan Burgess, her daughter, Ingrid and her fiance, Randy Miller of Gibsonville; twin Brother, Steven Cox and his wife, Mona of Haw River and their children, Amy, Ashley and April, brother, David Cox and his wife, Tina of Burlington and their son, Michael; great nieces and nephews, Kelsey, Chandler, Matthew, Deron, Kenny, Lorenzo, Luis, Jr., Cindy and Hillary; best friend, Donna Curran of Ruffin, NC and a special friend, Karen Coltren of Burlington and her animal companion, a cat named "Sasha". She was preceded in death by her fiance, Ben Elder. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. by Mr. Kevin Coberly at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel and the family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
