Burlington, NC Ival Kenneth Kenny Beagle, age 57, of 11941 NC Hwy 62 South went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 23, 2006 at Duke University Medical Center. He was a native of Alamance County and the husband of 37 years to Remona Gregory Beagle who survives. Kenny retired from Burlington Industries after 35 years and was a Member of Bethel Christian Church. He was a Charter Member of Anderson Volunteer Fire Department and an EMT where he had over 25 years of service. Kenny was also a member of the former Alamance County React Team. Kenny was devoted to his community and a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed Nascar racing and his favorite driver was Rusty Wallace. Survivors include his wife, Remona Gregory Beagle of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth Beagle, Jr. and his wife, Melissa of Burlington and Rodney Nathan Beagle and his wife, Christie also of Burlington; grandchildren, Christopher, Tyler, Dillon, Matthew, Drew and Michael; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jan and Denis Vass of Graham and Cheryl and David Cross of Asheboro and his pet dog Pistol. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Bruce and Eloise Topsy Ivey Beagle; granddaughters, Makayla and Courtney Beagle. The funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Christian Church by Rev. Barry Lane and Rev. Scott Reavis and the burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times the family will be at the home. The members of the Anderson Volunteer Fire Department are asked to service as honorary pallbearers for the service. The family of Kenny Beagle would like to express their appreciation to their church family, friends and the Anderson Volunteer Fire Department, the Anderson Community and the staff and nurses of Hospice.
