Mary Isley

Mary Williams Isley, 77 of 6521 Bethel Church Road went home to be with the Lord at 2:00 PM Friday September 30, 2005 at the Hospice Home in Burlington after 2 months of declining health. Born in Guilford County she was the daughter of the late Will and Mary Magdalene Williams, was a homemaker and attended the Brightwood Christian Church. Survivors include daughters, Catherine Andrews and husband Junior and Vickie Hinshaw and husband James of Gibsonville, NC and Linda Hedrick and husband Larry of Mocksville, NC; a son Garland Isley, Jr. of Burlington, NC; five Grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two step Grandchildren and four step great grandchildren; one sister, Ruby Waddell of Asheville, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband Garland E. Isley, Sr., granddaughter April Denise Andrews, four brothers, three sisters and her mother and father. The graveside service will be at 3:00 PM Sunday October 2, 2005 at Alamance Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Bruce Church and Rev. Don Lyerly. Family and Friends are welcome to attend. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home Saturday, October 1 from 6 to 8 PM and at other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215. Our family would like to thank the entire staff of Hospice for the loving care they showed our mother during her illness. They were a great comfort to all of us.
