Minnie Jones

Mrs. Minnie Louise Jones, age 78, of 2235 N. NC 87, Lot 3, died Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after several years of failing health. Born in Guilford County, she was the daughter of the late Cora Lee Pore York and was married to Harold Dean Jones, Sr., who survives. She was a homemaker and was a member of New Testament Baptist Church. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband of the home; five sons, Elmer Foster and his wife, Bonnie, of Gibsonville, Curtis Foster and his wife, Christine, of Burlington, Harold Dean Jones, Jr. and Richard Dean Jones both of Burlington and William Madison Jones and his wife, Angela, of Burlington; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a sister, Treva Harrell of FL. She was preceded in death by her mother and a daughter, Cynthia Ann Foster. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Ken Jackson. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the residence.
