Odell Greeson

Burton Odell Greeson, age 75 of Whitsett, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at his home. A native of Guilford County, he was the son of the late Walter Burton and Ruth Lillian Brown Greeson. Odell was a member of Tobasco Lodge 271 AF &AM in Gibsonville and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a former business owner and more recently a salesman with Vantage Vault Co. Survivors include his wife, Martha Lee Caviness Greeson of the home; children, Sandy Glenn John of Summerfield, Sharon Walker Butch Smith of Greensboro, Kim Workman Scott of Greensboro and Steve Greeson Heather of Whitsett; grandchildren Adam, Joshua, Jamie, Stephen, Ben and Luke; great grandchildren, Reece and Julian; siblings, Roy Greeson, Olean Redden Ronnie and Rachel Johnson Harry; sister in law, Faye Greeson, all of Gibsonville. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Shannon Lee Greeson and brother, Paul Greeson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. Mr. Greeson will remain at Lowe Funeral Home through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 6-8pm Friday.
