Peggy Wilson

Mrs. Peggy Hanes Wilson, 73, formerly of Tarleton Ave., passed away Monday, March 2, 2009 at Burlington Manor after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Shelby, NC, she was one of thirteen children of the late John Ellis and Margaret Brawley Hanes. Mrs. Wilson is survived by two daughters, Ruthie Clemmons and Sherrie Wilson both of Burlington; five grandchildren, Kelli, Matthew, Audrey, Ashley and Noah; a great grandson, Austin; and two sisters, Rachel Caudle and Becky Thomas. Special thanks are given to the loving staff of Burlington Manor, her second family, and the caregivers from the Hospice Home. Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Wilson family.
