Sarah Conklin

GIBSONVILLE- Mrs. Sarah Tiny Johnson Conklin, age 78, of 514 Meadow St., died Friday, March 18, 2011 at the Hospice Home. Born in Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Madie Wiles Johnson and the wife of Bobby Lee Conklin who survives. Sarah was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed traveling. She retired from Ametek Lamb Electric where she worked for over 20 years. Survivors include her husband of the home; a son, Robert Daniel Danny Talley of Graham; a daughter, Carolyn Talley Davis and husband Jerry of Graham; grandsons, Dwayne Allred and wife Jennifer of Snow Camp, Todd Talley and wife Heather of Graham and her best friend Mary Jane Holland. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, James Richard Johnson and William Jesse Johnson. The funeral service will be held 2:00 Monday, March 21, 2011 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Chaplain Susan Kane with the burial to follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 Sunday evening at the funeral home and other times at the home. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Sarahs best friends, Diana Frank and Patsy Buffer and to the nurses at Hospice Home.
