Sylvia Creel

Burlington - Sylvia Anne Hudson Creel of Village of Brookwood, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 2, 2007, at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was born in Jasper, Alabama, daughter of the late Fletcher M. and Thelma Alice Malone Hudson, and was married to Travis L. Creel who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Powerline Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her husband of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy C. and Dr. Tim Taylor of Burlington, Lisa C. and Dr. George Aldhizer of Pfafftown; son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Rickey and Donna Creel of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Leslie Shands and her husband Bobby, Travis D. Creel, Matt Taylor, Mary Catherine Creel, George R. Aldhizer, IV and Thomas Aldhizer; sisters, Linda Pepe of Sugarland, TX, LaNelle LaFayette of Jacksonville, AL and Dolores Robbins of Jasper, AL. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by her son-in-law, Dr. Tim Taylor. The family will receive friends from 11-12 prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of her daughter, Kathy C. Taylor 3253 Alex Faye Drive, Burlington. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper, Alabama.
