Tammy Demick

Burlington Tammy Michelle Demick, age 29, of 706 Huffman Mill Rd., passed away Wednesday morning at her home. A native of Smithfield, TN, she was wife of Juan Tavares and daughter of Carol Strickland Demick Graham and Douglas Arthur Demick. She was a homemaker and attended Peoples Memorial Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Juan Tavares; 2 daughters, Tamatha Duffey and Miranda Duffey both of the home; son, Brandon Tavares of the home; mother, Carol Strickland Demick Graham of Graham; father, Douglas Arthur Demick of Hollywood, FL; maternal grandparents, Leonard Grady and Peggy Jean Strickland of Haw River; brothers, Robert Haste of St. Augustine, FL and Johnny Bass of Crossville, TN; sisters, Theresa Keck of Graham and Brandy Tubiolo of Graham. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Friday November 10, 2006 at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. John Shields and Rev. Jon Davidson. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Tammy will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 6-8 pm Thursday and at other times at the home of her mother, Carol Graham; 148-C Crescent Oaks Apt., Graham.
