Adell Thomas

Ms. Adell Thomas, age 91, of Carolina Rd., passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the Hospice Home after several weeks of failing health. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Cap and Nonie Cook Thomas. Adell retired from Holt Hosiery with over 56 years of service and was a longtime member of Carolina Christian Church. Ms. Thomas is survived by her nephew, Cecil Eugene Thomas of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Violet Thomas; and her brother, Cecil James Thomas and his wife, Beulah Caulder Thomas. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, September 22, 2014 at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Jonathan Graves. The family will receive friends from 3-5 Sunday afternoon at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
