Alice Tyndall Michael

Alice Tyndall Michael, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 16, 2026 at Peak Resources surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Alamance County on May 14, 1940 to the late Clovis Fitchelon Tyndall and Sadie Alphadean May Tyndall, and was married to the late Larry Don Michael who died in 2022.

In her earlier years, Alice worked as a nurse’s aide at White Oak Manor in Burlington and at Goodwill Industries. She enjoyed working in her yard, keeping a clean home, and shopping. Her proudest accomplishment was her family, and she cherished spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving sons, Buddy Don Michael and his wife Sandy, and Joseph Dean Hicks and his wife Mary; her grandsons, Christopher Michael and his wife Tiffany, and John Hicks and his partner Tiffany; great grandchildren, Jackson Michael, Hannah Michael and Levin Hicks; her sisters, Ellen Murrell and her husband jimmy, Glenn Tyndall and Dean Saunders; and several nieces and nephews. Alice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, Larry Don Michael; a brother, Clovis Tyndall and a sister, Anne Pattishaw.

Alice had requested No Services to be held.
