Anita Eugenia Albright, 60 of Burlington, North Carolina passed away into her Heavenly home on Saturday, March 28, 2026 after a courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) surrounded by family and friends.
Anita was a lady of many talents and who was versed on many topics. She was very artistic and a gifted interior decorator and painter. Anita loved being outside, working in her garden, going fishing, cutting grass, going to car shows and enjoying nature all with her husband. She also loved spending time with her sister Deborah, going shopping, to craft shows/festivals, nails, fairy hair and eating out with Amy and Betty.
Anita was last employed by First Horizon Bank as an assistant manager at the Huffman Mill Road location. There, she established many friendships and relationships with co-workers and customers who frequented the bank.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Jarrett and Nell Jarrett and her sister-in-law, Trish Jarrett. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Charles Albright for 38 loving years. She is also survived by her sister and best friend, Deborah Jarrett (Dennis Williams) of Greensboro, NC; brothers, Doug Jarrett of Greensboro, NC, Roger Minton (Barbara) of Fritz Creek, AK, Mike Minton (Susan) of Burlington, NC; mother-in-law, Betty Albright of Burlington, NC; great friend, Amy Little of Burlington, NC and last but not least, Sadie, her loving and dedicated Golden Retriever.
Anita was a devoted wife, sister and friend who touched many with her engaging personality. While we mourn her loss, may we also celebrate the gift of friendship that she so deeply gave! A piece of my heart is now a star in the sky.
