Anita Fogg Hamilton

Anita Fogg Hamilton, 85, of Graham, NC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 24, 2023. Born January 16, 1938 in Hardwick, VT, she was the youngest child of George Fogg and Zelma Carr Fogg.

Anita was primarily a homemaker, raising her children and later caring for her beloved grandchildren after school and during the summers. She loved dogs, and especially her Papillons. She had a green thumb, and growing a garden full of lilies for years on end was a source of great joy. And Anita loved the Lord, regularly attending worship and Bible studies at Saxapahaw United Methodist Church until she was no longer physically able.

Anita is survived by her son, F. Clark Hamilton, Jr. (Jennifer) of Graham, NC; her daughter, Catherine Ann Shoemaker (Scott Brice) of Ocala FL; and her three grandchildren, Travis, Matthew and Abigail. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fulton Clark Hamilton; her sister, Helen Rucker; and her parents.
