Ann retired after an impressive thirty-year career with the Lorillard Tobacco Company, also she owned and operated AC Florist and Gifts. Through her floral business, she brightened the lives of countless individuals with beautiful arrangements, showcasing her creativity and passion for bringing joy to others.
Family was the heartbeat of Ann's life. She cherished each moment spent with her loved ones, placing great importance on those connections. Her daughter, Penny Baldwin, and son-in-law Arnold, along with her granddaughter, Ashley Baldwin, and Jermaine, brought her immense happiness. Ann took pride in being a great-grandmother to Kinna and Jamiyah McCain, who undoubtedly filled her life with laughter and joy. Ann's unwavering love extended to her dear sister, Brenda Davis, and her cherished uncle, Jerry Allison. She was also never without the companionship of her furry friend, Heidi, who was always by her side.
In addition to her loving family, Ann is now reunited with her beloved husband, Thomas "Ted" Carter, whose memory she held close. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Janet King, and her parents, Weldon King and Hazel Allison King, who laid the foundation of love that she carried throughout her life.
