Annie Lee Lineberry Mitchell, 93, peacefully went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 17, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family She was born in Alamance County on August 25, 1919 to the late Otis Carl and Cassie Tyson Lineberry and was the wife of the late, James Clair Mitchell, Sr. Annie was a member of First Baptist Church of Graham and later a member of Northside Presbyterian Church. She retired from General Electric. Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy Sue Mitchell Weeks of Burlington; sons, William James "Bill" Mitchell and wife, Betty of Citronelle, AL, Don Mitchell and wife, Charlene of Murrieta, CA and John Mitchell and wife, Margie of Yuma, AZ; grandchildren, Kurtis Weeks and wife, Luz Helena of Grand Junction, CO, Karen Silva and husband, Jorge of Cartagna, Columbia, South America, Tammy and David Redmond of Cape Coral, FL, Tracy Jordan and husband, Donald of Citronelle, AL, Tiffany Mitchell Morgan and husband, Neal of Mobile, AL, Don Manley Mitchell, Jr. of Riverside, CA, Michelle Mitchell Neale of Upland, CA, Mirielle Mitchell Barrett and husband, Michael of Riverside, CA, Jan Mitchell Johnson and husband, Kirk of Houston TX, Paula Mitchell Brahan and husband, John of Hattiesburg, MS; great grandchildren, M.W. Bryce Barrett, III of USAF, Qatar, Madison Elizabeth Neale, Bailey Charlene Barrett, Braydon Mitchell Barrett, Rawley Thomas Neale, London Abigail Mitchell, all of California, Melissa Weeks of Colorado, Courtney Morgan, Tyler Morgan, Danielle Jordan and Blake Jordan, all of Alabama and Caitlan Redmond of Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers, Carl Lineberry, Manley Lineberry, Mack Lineberry, Harvey Lineberry and Otis Carl Lineberry, Jr. The funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, December 21, 2012 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jim Mitchell with the burial to follow at McCray Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home. The family would like to thank all of her special caregivers, Jackie Edmonds of Graham; special granddaughter, Gail Barnett of Gibsonville; friends, Gene and Rachel Pegg of Haw River; cousins, Shimmy and Cleon Scarlett of Hillsborough, daughter-in-law, Peggy Mitchell of Burlington, niece, Mae Maness; great niece, Robin Howard and the wonderful staff at the Hospice Home in Burlington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215
