Archie Ray Phillippie

Archie Ray Phillippie, 93, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.  He was born July 29, 1926 in Alamance County to the late Ernest Phillippie and Eula Shoffner Phillippie and was married to the late Dorothy Mae Shaw Phillippie.

Archie retired from GKN as a security guard. He was a member of Hico Baptist Church and was a proud WWII US Army veteran.

He is survived by his son Mark Phillippie (Ann); grandson Kevin Phillippie and sister, Evelyn Barfield. Archie was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother, Clifton Phillippie.

The graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, July 27, 2020 at Alamance Memorial Park. Archie will be available for viewing from 3PM-5PM on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
