Azelle Marshall

Mrs. Azelle Wicker Marshall, age 93, formerly of Brooks Bridge Rd. in Gibsonville, died Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at White Oak Manor after several months of failing health. Born in Chatham County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Charlie H. Wicker and the late Rosie Wicker and was married to the late Aldro Anderson Marshall, who died in 1982. She was a homemaker and a member of Brown's Wesleyan Church and later attended People's Memorial Christian Church. Mrs. Marshall is survived by five nephews, Steve Wicker and his wife, Neta, Jimmy Wicker, Tony Wicker, Larry Marshall and Jimmy Marshall. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and two brothers, Devoe Wicker and Slocom Wicker. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 20, 2009 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Don Ledbetter. Interment will follow at Rocky River Friends Church Cemetery.
