Barbara Sherrod McDaniel, age 82, died on Wednesday, February 26, 2008. She is survived by her children, Sherrod McDaniel, Leigh Lucas, Bill McDaniel and Scott McDaniel and her seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at the Twin Lakes Chapel in Burlington. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Twin Lakes Resident Assistance Fund, 3701 Wade Coble Drive, Burlington, NC 27215.
