Barbara Priemer

Burlington, NC Barbara Joyce Hucks Priemer, age 48, of 1261 Gordon Street went home to be with the Lord after a sudden illness on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Loris Community Hospital in Loris, South Carolina. She was the wife of Jerry C. Priemer and a native of Alamance County. Barbara was a beautician with Hair Gallery in Burlington. She attended Family Restoration Fellowship where she headed up a womens Bible study group. Barbara had a burden for the lost and was very active in local and world wide missions. Survivors include her husband, Jerry C. Priemer of the home; parents, George Howard and Susie Durham Hucks of Burlington; sister and brother-in-law, Pat and C.B. Greenwood of Winston-Salem; brother, Keith Hucks of Burlington; paternal grandmother, Nettie Duke of Burlington; father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Rachel Priemer of New Mexico. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr Karl D. Coke and assisted by Rev. Larry Redding. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home and other times at the home of her parents, 522 Central Avenue, Burlington,NC.
