Barry Barber

Barry Lee Barber, 60, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Person Memorial Hospital. He was born in Alamance County to the late Herbert Tate Barber, Sr. and Julia Mae Terrell Barber and was married to Annette Barber, who survives. Barry worked for Durham Public Schools as a HVAC technician. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who truly enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Annette, sons, John "J.B." Barber and Lawrence "L.T." Barber and a grandson, J.J. Barber. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Faye B. Sharpe and a brother, Herbie Barber.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Old Lea Bethel Baptist Church by Rev. Alan Bottoms and Rev. Bill Baulding. The family will receive friends following the service.
