Berkley Gammon

Berkley Levi Gammon, 63, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 at ARMC after a short illness.  He was born July 2, 1956 in Alamance County to the late Robert Berkley Gammon and Virginia Cross Gammon who survives.  Levi was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed all types of hunting and fishing.  He was a Tar Heel and Carolina Panther fan.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his mother; daughters, Mandi Longieliere, Katheryn “Kathy” Huffines; grandchildren, Trevor D. Mann, Hayden B. Huffines, Ian D. Poteat, Cynthia L. Longieliere and Austin G. Longieliere.

He was preceded in death by his father.

The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Grace Baptist Church on Rascoe Dameron Rd. by Rev. John Crews.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the residence.
