Bernard Boscia, Sr.

Burlington, NC Bernard Philip Boscia, Sr., age 77, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2008. He was a native of the Bronx, New York and the husband of 44 years to Barbara Improta Boscia who survives. Bernard retired from A T & T after 25 years and he was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of the home; sons and daughter-in-law, Ralph A. and Sandra L. Boscia of Charlotte, Bernard Philip Boscia, Jr. of Lansdale, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Ralph A. Boscia, Jr. and Nicholas R. Boscia; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and John Reitano of Bronx, New York; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Maria Gravina Boscia. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and the burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
