Betty Stines

Gibsonville Betty Louise Burton Stines, 75 of Burlington Ave. went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 6, 2011. She was born in Two Harbors, MN to the late Frank and Bessie Bolen Burton and was married to Alton Stines, who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of West Burlington Church of God. Betty was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband of the home, daughter, Amy Guerra of Fairborn, OH; sons, Frank Jan Stines of Thomasville and Jeff Stines of Murrieta, CA; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Adah Bryce and Roberta Petersen and brothers, Desmond Mary Burton, Stanford Penny Burton, Tim Sandy Burton, Mark Burton and Dale Lauren Burton. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Michael Stines and a brother, Frank Burton, Jr. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, June 11, 2011 at West Burlington Church of God by Rev. Olin Tatum.
