Billy "Bill" Warren Brown,78, departed this life peacefully on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at the Hospice Home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 6, 1947 in Randolph County to the late Warren Green Brown and Beverly Sumner Brown, and was the husband to the late Janice Capps Brown.

Bill was proud to be a member of Hopedale Church, where he served as a former choir member and contributed to various committees, sharing his faith and love for community. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Bill cherished his time spent with family at Sunset Beach, which holds countless memories for his daughter and the entire family. His passion for traveling allowed him to see new places, with a memorable last family vacation to Europe that brought smiles to everyone involved. In his leisure time, Bill enjoyed watching Grit TV and western films, sharing stories and laughter with those around him.

He leaves behind his devoted children, Revonda Johnson and Michael "Mike" Brown. His legacy continues through his loving grandchildren, Travis Johnson and his wife Fania, Mary Brown, and Madelin Brown, as well as his great-grandchildren that he adored, Theo Johnson and Elena Johnson. Bill was also a cherished brother to Jane Faulkner and her husband Ralph, and to his brothers, Roger Brown and his wife Ruby, and Ronnie Brown. He held a special bond with his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Cartwright and her husband J.R., and Shelia Porterfield and her husband Andy, as well as several nieces and nephews, who will carry his memory forward.

Bill has now been reunited with his loving wife of 53 years, Janice Capps Brown, who passed away in February 2021; his parents, Warren and Beverly Sumner Brown; a sister, Carol Shields; and a brother, Ken Brown.
