Mr. Billy Keith Wall, 75, of 603 Edinburgh Ct., died suddenly on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after several months of failing health. Born in Johnston County, he was the son of the late Jessie H. Wall and the late Rachel Woodard Wall and was married for over 55 years to Mrs. Faye Brown Wall, who survives. Mr. Wall was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Korean War. He retired from Cone Mills in Haw River after 44 years of service and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Burlington. He loved his family very much and his devotion to them was a main priority in his life. He also greatly enjoyed landscaping and working outdoors. Mr. Wall is survived by his wife of the home; a daughter, Belinda Wall Day and her husband, Randy, of Burlington; a son, Ronnie K. Wall and his wife, Susan B., of Burlington; two grandchildren, Ashley B. Day and Caroline W. Day; two step grandchildren, Ann Love and Maggie Love; two sisters, Carol Wall Oakley and her husband, David, of Elon and Amy Andrews of Winston-Salem; and a brother, Lynwwod Wall and his wife, Sheri, of Elon. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ricky Lee Wall; and a brother, Joseph W. Wall. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Burlington by Dr. Terry Peele and Rev. Coslow Holt, Jr. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
