Bonnie Huskey

Bonnie Jean Somers Huskey, 81, passed away Sunday November 30, 2014 at the Hospice Home after 1 year of failing health. She was born in Alamance County to the late Herman A. Somers, Sr. and Beulah Wrenn Somers. Bonnie was a homemaker and a member of Ossippee Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Reid Huskey, Kenneth Huskey and wife, Beth; 3 grandsons, 1 great grandson, 2 great granddaughters, 1 grandson-in-law; sisters, Doris Godwin and Marie Bunn; special niece, Darlene Harrell. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, 1 granddaughter, 1 great granddaughter, 4 brothers and 1 sister. The graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, 411 W. Fifth Street, Burlington, NC 27215 or to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
