Bradsher Wayne Robinson, 85, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. He was born in Person County on October 23, 1940 to the late Bradsher and Alice Robinson and was the husband of 66 years to Mary Lou Robinson.
Wayne was a longtime member of People’s Memorial Christian Church where he served as deacon and usher and was an International Representative for United Steel Workers of America. He was determined and committed to protecting worker’s rights. Wayne loved his grandchildren and cherished time spent with his family. Most of all, he loved the Lord. He was faithful in his spiritual journey and his love for Jesus was portrayed through his prayer life, his compassion for others, and his boundless desire to read God’s Word. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his sons, Ronnie Robinson and fiancée Sherry, and Eddie Robinson; grandsons Scott, Chris, Travis, Aaron, Tyler, Zack, and Max Robinson; great-grandchildren Jacob, Jason, Greyleigh, Gracelynn, Mason, Julian, K.J., Xzavion, Caylixx, Ayla and Zaylen and a sister, Diana Throneburg. A Graveside Service to honor and celebrate Wayne’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on April 7, 2026 at Graham Memorial Park by Rev. John Shields and Rev. Keith Spake. The family will receive friends at the home.
