Brenda Hensley Borst

She was formerly employed by Alamance Eye Center for over 14 years. Brenda was a very active church member of Shallow Ford Christian Church where she was also a member of the Women’s Fellowship, served on the church cabinet and was a regular volunteer for Vacation Bible School. She and Bill loved to dance and were members of the Shallow Ford Squares Dance Club and Lou’s Twos Round Dance Club. Brenda and Bill also enjoyed RV camping and were members of the Holiday Rumblers. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who truly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; children, Billie Fred “Trip” Brown III and his wife Melodee, Wesley Guy Brown and his wife Kellie, Anne Victoria Partin and her husband Drew, William Justin Borst and his wife Angie; grandchildren, Robbie Brown, Christian Brown and his wife Hope, Brittney Shumaker and her husband John, Kelsey Beagle and her husband Matt, Jessica Raby and her husband Jeremiah, Alec Brown, Liam Partin, Laura Partin, Jacob Borst; great grandchildren, Copelinn Brown, Lucas Brown, Morris Brown, Austin Shumaker and Brady Shumaker; and sister, Cathy Holt and her husband Mike. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Ronnie Lee Hensley and a sister-in-law, Sandra Hensley.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, March 18, 2024 at Shallow Ford Christian Church by Pastor Steve Regan with burial to follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 12:45 Monday at the church prior to the service.
