Brenda Kay Clements Agner, a devoted Christian and cherished member of her community, passed away on March 27, 2026. Born on December 1, 1965, in Durham County, Brenda lived a life marked by warmth, kindness, and an unwavering faith in the Lord. She was a beloved wife, sister, and aunt whose presence touched many.
Brenda was known for her outgoing personality and her remarkable ability to connect with people—she never met a stranger and loved everyone she encountered. Her fun-loving spirit was evident in her love for the beach, where she found joy and peace. She also had a special hobby of collecting dolls, a passion that brought her much happiness throughout her life. Brenda would often share her favorite saying, "Jesus is with us," a reflection of her deep and abiding faith.
Professionally, Brenda dedicated her career to serving others through her work with UNC Hospice, demonstrating compassion and empathy for those in times of need. Her commitment to care was an extension of her loving nature and her devotion to the principles she held dear.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Brian E. Agner; her brother, Robert E. Clements, and his wife, Lea Ann; her sister, Connie L. Clements; and her beloved nephews, Lucas, Seth, and Austin Clements, and her best friend, Lisa Wagoner. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Clements, and her mother, Betty Beale Clements.
A Celebration of Life to honor Brenda’s memory will take place 2:00 PM, March 31, 2026, at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215. Friends and family are invited to join in remembering Brenda’s vibrant spirit and the love she shared so generously.
Brenda Kay Clements Agner’s legacy is one of joy, faith, and heartfelt connection. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
