Bruce Robertson

Bruce Mirrett Robertson, 82, of 1016 Walnut St. died on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Person County and was the son of the late William Monroe Robertson and Hallie Mazula Robertson. He was married for 17 years to Nellie Mae Page Robertson, who survives. He retired from Glen Raven Mills after 23 years of service and attended Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of the home; daughter, Vicky R. Craven of Liberty; stepdaughters, Wanda Reid of Burlington, Tammy Williams of Graham, Donna Schmidt and her husband Jay of Eli Whitney; 3 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; sister, Evelyn R. Weaver of Burlington and brothers, Joe Robertson of Roxboro, Cecil Robertson of Mebane. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Sue Walker Robertson; daughter, Lisa Kay Robertson; parents; sisters, Clara Reagan, Claudia Redmon, Annie Mae Lady, Glenna Carver, Inez Robertson and Madeline Bramme; and brothers, Bedford Robertson, William Robertson and Boyzie Wolfie Robertson. The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Elder Donald Smith and Elder John Lee. Burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12 2 Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
