Carl Bryant

Burlington Carl Allen Bryant, 74, of Burlington left for the city where the Builder and Maker is God on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was born in Alamance County to the late Clyde Allen and Elizabeth Gurton Bryant and was married for almost 42 years to Janeen Pegg Bryant who survives. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Carl worked at Flowers Bakery full-time for 42 years and part-time for 9 years. He was a member of Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church and because he loved the Lord Jesus he served as Trustee, Deacon, Bus ministry Captain, Children's Church Leader and other roles in the church and community. He is survived by his wife of the home; children, Rev. Don Kim Pegg of Burlington, Keith Susan Pegg of Burlington, Sherry Barry Davis of Graham, Carla Todd Coleman of Burlington; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Don Pegg, Rev. Walter Jones and Rev. John Robertson with burial to follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Sunday evening at the funeral home and other times at the home. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Miller, Dr. Fleming and Dr. Choski.
