Carl "Jimmy" Hawk, Jr.

Carl James “Jimmy” Hawk, Jr., 54, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at his home from an accidental fall.  He was born on November 12, 1967 in Guilford County to Carl James Hawk, Sr. and Linda Marie Apple Hawk who survives.

Jimmy was a former counselor with the Cumberland Hospital for Children and Adolescents in Virginia. He was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church, he enjoyed playing golf, an avid Tar Heels fan, watching all kinds of sports on the television and was an animal lover.

Jimmy is survived by his loving parents, Carl and Linda Hawk; his feline companion, Rickie (named after Rickie Fowler the golfer) and several aunts, uncles and many cousins.

Memorials may be made to Fairview UMC, 3128 Osceola Road, Elon, NC 27244.

The family is planning a private celebration service at a later date.
