Carlotta Timonda Portee Covington, of Burlington, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026.

Carlotta was a devoted mother and beloved family member who loved her family deeply and worked tirelessly to provide and care for those she loved.  She was the anchor of her family, someone everyone could rely on, confide in, and turn to for guidance and support.  She especially cherished watching both her sons play basketball, taking pride in the moments and memories they shared.  

Carlotta meant so much to everyone around her, and her love, strength, and unwavering presence will forever remain in the hearts of her family.  Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave and the legacy she leaves behind will never be forgotten.
