Catherine Castrovinci

Catherine Kitty Grossi Castrovinci, age 92, of 737 Engleman Avenue died on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at her home. She was a native of Jersey City, New Jersey and the wife of the late Salvatore Sam Castrovinci. Catherine was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and a homemaker. She was an avid bowler into her late eighties and she loved cooking for her family and friends. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and they lovingly referred to her as Gram. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Anne C. De Angelo and her husband, Russell of Burlington and Josephine Mastrogiovanni and her husband, Donald of Punta Gorda, Florida; grandchildren, Russell De Angelo, III, Deborrah Murray, Donald Mastrogiovanni and Christine Tyburczy; great grandchildren, Dustin Adams, Aerial De Angelo, Alina Mastrogiovanni, Shelby Mastrogiovanni and Camryn Murray; brother, John Grossi of Parsippany, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, Nicholas and Josephine Grossi Grossi. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Father Zbigniew Zajchowski, O.F.M. Conv. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence.
