Celia Lopez De Mondragon

Graham- Celia Lopez De Mondragon, 65 passed away Friday, March 31, 2023 at Cone Health Alamance Regional. Born May 1, 1957 in Verazcruz, Mexico daughter of Margarita Lopez and Locadio Cabrera. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving her is her husband,  Prisciliano Vargas Mendoza. Her daughters Esperanza Hinojosa, Rosalba Alvarez, Maria Leticia Alvarez, Nalleli Mondragon Lopez, Maria Del Carmen Mondragon, Melissa Quintanilla. Brothers, Leonardo, Zacarias, Eostaquio and Rocio.

Also surviving her are 20 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Celia was a loving mother, grandmother & great grandmother and wife. She loved traveling and seeing new places. She will be greatly missed by everyone that had the privilege of meeting her and knowing her as a person but her memory will live on in our hearts and mind.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 2:00PM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm prior to the service at the church. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening from 5-8pm at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at her daughter's home.
