Charles Monteleone

Charles "Charlie" Monteleone, 52, passed away Saturday September 1, 2012 at Duke University Medical Center. He was the husband of Gina Pizzuto Monteleone and was born February 15, 1960 in Queens NY to Andrew Monteleone and Ann Angotta Monteleone. Charlie had served in the U.S. Army and was employed by Burlington Insurance Group. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife of the home, his parents of Graham, a daughter Lauren T.C. Crawford of High Point, sons, Christopher Monteleone of Charlotte, Steven Monteleone of the home, a brother Andrew Ann Marie Monteleone of Garden City, NY, a sister Lorraine Michael Riglietti of Long Beach, NY, several nieces and nephews. The funeral mass will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Rev. Paul Gabriel, O.F.M., Conv. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to The Kidney Cancer Association, P.O.
