Charlie Rivers

Charlie "Bo" Thomas Rivers, 73, of St. Regis Dr. passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after several months of failing health. He was the husband of the late Veronica "Bonnie" Hill Rivers and was born June 24, 1939 in Warren County, NC to the late Thomas Jones Rivers and Jennie Waddell Rivers Rayle who survives. Survivors include a son, Michael Rivers and his wife Connie of Burlington; daughter, Windy Sykes and her husband Larry of Burlington, a daughter-in-law Wendy Rivers, step-father Lewis Rayle, a sister Virginia Norwood of Graham, brothers, Mackie Rivers and his wife Bonnie of Burlington, Bobby Rivers and his wife Sue of Gibsonville, seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, father, a son Timothy "Tim" Rivers, a sister Betsy Crumpton and a brother Raymond "Bunk" Rivers. The graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Kenny Godair. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home of Wendy Rivers 2148 Troendly St. Memorials may be made to World of Pentecost Church, 1935 Hanford Rd., Burlington, NC 27215
