Charlotte Wheeler

Charlotte Edwards Wheeler, age 80, of 1314 Kenwood Dr. Burlington, passed away Monday May 28, 2007 at her home. A native of Halifax County, NC, she was the wife of the late James W. Jim Wheeler for 52 years and the daughter of the late Albert Lee Edwards and Annie Elizabeth Stacia Edwards Roach. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, Women of the Moose and was retired from MCR in Mebane. She was a Burlington Mill Hill Gal. Survivors include her daughter Ellen Wheeler Boyd and husband Wilson of Graham; grandchildren, Jason Todd Boyd and wife Krista of Snow Camp and Elizabeth Boyd Beth Prezioso and husband Eric of Graham; great grandchildren, Mason James Prezioso, Jameson Todd Boyd, Joseph Wilson Prezioso and Jonas Gibson Boyd. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 31, 2007 at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Norman Whitney. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. Mrs. Wheeler will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30-1:30 PM Thursday, prior to the funeral service. The family would like to give a special thanks to Hazel Williams and Earlene Wright for the care and attention given Mrs. Wheeler and to Hospice workers, Raquel, Marie, Lorri, Bonnie, Rhonda, Rosa, Nikki, Sarah, Lyndsay and all the Hospice people for their special care.
