Charlotte Wiggins

Burlington Charlotte Jo Pedan Wiggins, 78, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Hospice Home after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born in Chattanooga to the late Thomas Alton and Bernice May Moss Pedan and was married to the late Oliver Wendall Wiggins. She was a homemaker, a certified dietician and a member of Mebane Street Church of Christ. She is survived by her sons, Charlton and Jeff Shannon Wiggins; granddaughter, Catherine Wiggins; grandsons, Alan and Lee Hudson and a sister, Donna Ricky King; nephew, Corey Ayers and a niece, Shelly Ayers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Mebane Street Church of Christ and 1:00 PM Friday at Ridgedale Church of Christ, Chattanooga, TN. The graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM Friday at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215 or to the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407.
