Christine Parnell

Nicholson, Ga. Christine Lloyd Parnell, 87, formerly of Burlington died Friday, May 11, 2007. A native of Wake County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Pearl Perry Lloyd and the widow of Arthur Royal Parnell. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Vonnie Parnell of Nicholson, GA; one grandson; and three granddaughters. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. John Ingham. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Sunday, May 13, 2007 at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home East, Athens, Ga. and 12:30 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2007 prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home.
