Christine Teague

Elon-Christine Shoe Teague, 94, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Alamance-Caswell Hospice Home. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of the late Charles William Teague.
Christine retired after 40 years with Burlington Industries J Spencer Love Center. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Elon and was a member of Wesleyan Sunday School Class. She was a loving and devoted wife, sister, sister-law and aunt.
Survivors include her sister, Barbara S. Saunders; sister-in-law, Sylvia Shoe; brother-in-law, Wilton Wheeley and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, Arthur Lee and Emily Sharpe Shoe; sisters, Mable S. Inge, Myrtle S. Inge, Evelyn S. Wheeley; brothers, Louis, Elmo and John Shoe; brother-in-laws, Leonard E. Saunders, Jr., Elmo and Noel Inge; sister-in-laws, Edna Shoe and Vallie Shoe and her nephew, Richard Lee Shoe.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Caswell House, Amedisys Hospice and Hospice of Alamance-Caswell for their compassionate care for Christine.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum by Rev. Kellie Gallagher and assisted by Rev. Adam Benson. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:45 pm at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory prior to the graveside service.
