Christine Weaver

Mrs. Christine Massey Weaver, 93, of 2833 NC 87 S., Lot # 27, died Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at her home after failing health of six months. A native of Patrick County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. Massey and the late Rosa Conway Massey and was married to the late Walter Woodrow Weaver, who died in 1969. She retired from Burlington Industries, the Plaid Mill Plant, after 39 years service and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Weaver is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jo Ann Allen and Mrs. Charlene Peele, both of Graham; a son, Woodrow Weaver of Burlington; three grandchildren, Cynthia Peele, Tommy Susie Allen, and Lisa A. Chris LaCombe; two great grandchildren, Brittany Ann LaCombe and Heather Dawn LaCombe; and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Barton of Eden. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters, and three brothers. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Ernest Beck. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
