Clifton Hopkins

Clifton Ray Hopkins, 59, passed away Saturday at Alamance Regional Medical Center after several years of failing health. He was the son of Mark Lewis Hopkins, Sr. and Vivian Horton Hopkins. Ray worked in the automotive industry. Survivors include his parents of Burlington, daughters; Tina Chad Jordan of Graham, Tanya Pugh of Martinsville, VA, Tammy Smith of Burlington, Rachel Terry Edmonds of Orangeburg, SC, sisters, Cynthia Carlton Jones of Burlington, Ann Israel of Hillsborough, brothers; Earl Hopkins of Elon, Kenneth Peggy Hopkins of Efland, Mark Jean Hopkins, Jr. of Burlington and eight grandchildren. There will be a memorial service 4:00 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jimmy Holland.
