Cornelia Anderson

Mrs. Cornelia Mae Anderson, age 86, of 800 Larry Ave., died Friday, June 29, 2012 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after several years of failing health. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late James A. Anderson and the late Brona Douglas. She was a former employee of Burlington Industries and attended People's Church in Mebane. Mrs. Anderson is survived by three daughters, Diane Foust and her husband, Bruce, of Graham, Angela Wright and her husband, Ronald, of Burlington and Vickie Bare of Mebane; three sons, James Bare and his wife, Brenda, of Yanceyville, Tim Bare and his wife, Debra, of Snow Camp and Steve Bare of Texas; nineteen grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and two sisters, Gertrude Mize of Burlington and Barbara Realini of Graham. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ernest Bare; and a brother, Robert Anderson. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 1, 2012 at People's Church by Rev. James Christopher. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 2:45 Sunday afternoon at the church prior to the service and other times at the residence.
