Coy "C.W." Greeson

After working twenty years for the NC Department of Transportation, C.W. became a tobacco farmer helping his father on their family farm. He was a lifelong member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, a US Army veteran, he enjoyed farming, gardening and going to the Greensboro Grass Hoppers baseball games.

C.W. is survived by his son, Morris “Mo” Greeson and wife Karen; a daughter, Janet Denney and husband Phil; grandchildren, Becca Wilson and husband Hunter, Lauren Greeson, Evan Denney, Jack Denney; great granddaughter, Nora Elaine Wilson; and several nieces and nephews. C.W. was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a daughter Elizabeth Greeson, and sisters, Viola Sowers and Blanche Ring.

The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Paul Rhodes with the private burial to follow at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45AM Saturday prior to the service.
