Daniel Hickerson

Chapel Hill - Daniel Boone Hickerson, 37, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.  He is the son of Dana Elizabeth Sutton and the late David Leonard Hickerson.
Daniel was a member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma; Wolf Clan.  He was a loving and loyal son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, and friend.  Daniel loved animals and worked as a veterinarian assistant.  He enjoyed gaming with his brother and friends.

Daniel is survived by his mother Dana and stepfather Mike Sutton of Graham; brother David Hickerson and nephew Dev Hickerson of Hillsborough; grandmother Mary Louise Smith of Burlington, VT; aunts and uncles Cathy and Peter Kreyling of Washington, VA, Sara and Bruce Curtis of Pittsboro, NC, and Leslie and Jerry Williams of Burlington VT.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
