Darlene Gerringer

Burlington Darlene Overman Gerringer,69, went home to be with Lord on Saturday, April 17, 2021 surrounded by her family at ARMC. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of 46 years to Rance Hulon Gerringer who survives.

Darlene was a homemaker and attended Bible Baptist church. She was a former member of Beacon Baptist Church where she helped with Awanas for several years. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family.

Survivors include her husband, Rance Hulon Gerringer of the home; daughter, Ashley Gerringer of Burlington and son, Kevin Gerringer and wife, Jacque of Burlington; grandchildren, Kelsey, Kailyn and AlyBeth Gerringer and a sister, Barbara O. Coble of Burlington and her mother-in-law, Frances Page Gerringer of Elon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rez Patterson and Faydene Smith Overman and her brother, Earl Wayne Overman.

A Graveside Service will be held at Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetery on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM by Rev. Kevin Bunn.
