David Shambley

David Phil Shambley, 65, passed away December 6, 2012 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Jesse Jackson and Annie Dixon Shambley. David is survived by his sister, Sandra Shambley Coombs of Wilmington, a nephew, Glenn Coombs and wife Amy of Burgaw, NC and their six children. He is preceded in death by his parents. A service to celebrate his life will be held 3:00pm, Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Staley Memorial Baptist Church by Pastor Bennie Smith. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:45pm, Sunday, prior to the service at the church.
